My name is Chance. I started this blog because I enjoy reading other people’s blogs so much. I’m not into twitter and I can barely keep up with facebook, but I thought a blog might be my speed; I write when I can – you read when you can. Some things that define me: I am Southern. I have two children and I homeschool. I am learning about the world around me by teaching my children about ancient cultures and their spirituality. I like to find creative ways to do things. We have a kind of urban homestead with ten chickens and a colony of bees, amongst the birds, raccoons, possums, hawks and other wildlife.I teach yoga. I have a home bakery that makes some amazing (if I do say so myself) whole grain gluten-free goodies, grain-free treats and other various confections. I love to cook and I love to nourish people. I believe in the power of food to carry love and nourishment to others.  I love the internet and the fact that it allows me to find instant inspiration for many things and that the inspiration may come from around the world. I would post vegetables are grown first, and then canned..
